Not really. Lights in the shower head (LEDs likely), and the tiles are probably the same material used to indicate water temperature in fish tanks, and those thermometers have been around for decades.

I feel like vampires are rarely touched upon in our subculture.
And I don’t mean the sparkly, “Twilight” variety; I mean the apex predator, “30 Days of Night” variety. There are a few fanfics involving zombies, but vampire fanfics are practically non-existent. I tried fixing this problem myself, but EqD rejected my fanfiction. :(

Lemme guess, it’s some of the closed-minded, evangelical extremists. I honestly believe that Jesus would approve of this show and most of the fandom as we’re helpful and nice to each other and people outside the fandom. We have our extremists and people that shove bronyism upon everyone, but that’s a part of any group.
As a Christian Brony, I approve of Christian Bronies.

Isn’t a “brony” just someone who watches the show? That’s literally it. Nothing more, nothing less. It’s just a word for the fandom. Quit overthinking it.

…kind of suck right now.
I’m going to be facing the same situation I was in within weeks. No work. Couldn’t finish an exam for an MCAT teaching job (3 hrs for a 45-min exam on stuff I earned a bachelors degree in: Physics). Makes me feel like I wasted time in college. Received two job rejection letters yesterday as well. I also owe the school a little over $213, and they’re withholding my degree and transcripts until I pay. I don’t even have $213 to my name at the moment, and I’m hesitant to even buy groceries in fear of going broke (and thus not eating properly).
Have SAW merchandise up for sale to but no-one’s buying. Not much of an artist, so commissions for money aren’t going to happen. My tutoring service idea flopped hard, so even trying to earn money somehow off of my skills flopped (the tutoring service). Anxiety issues due to experiences at a previous job are hampering my job search. Existing and confirmed disabilities don’t help either. Waiting on my doctor for the vocational rehabilitation referral. Keep hesitating about unemployment and they turned me down the last time anyway because they didn’t count my grad school work.
I also need to find a place to stay after June because my lease on my current apartment runs out in July. I have no clue where I’ll move to. There are plenty of cheaper apartments out there, but I don’t think any of them will give me one if I have no job and will owe rent on my previous apt (which I likely will). I’ll likely have to move home, something that most everyone agrees is a bad idea. It’s not like nothing bad is happening at home. It’s just that I hate living in that dependent environment, and I’ll be forced to pay rent there anyway since my family is broke and want me to get a job. My mom would annoy me about it while I was writing my master’s thesis, but I couldn’t handle work and thesis writing. I love my mom a lot. She just doesn’t understand my situations sometimes. Add that home is a 500+ mile drive away, and moving home is a bad idea. And I’m not even sure if I can continue my job at Bronystate if I move home. I love working for Bronystate, but I selfishly wish at times like this that I could legitimately earn money from it (just to pay bills and rent, not to make a fortune. I don’t care about being rich. I care more about being happy, but happiness doesn’t pay bills and rent).
I hate to whine like this especially when people are in similar or worse situations (and Bronyfunds will be helping a lot of those people out), but I need to get this out. It’s causing me to become depressed again, and I don’t want to pop pills for it (bad meds f****d my life up once).
Things kind-of suck right now. If you read this long-ass post, thanks. I appreciate it. All I can fairly ask for in return is advice, and unfairly ask for assistance. *Shrug*?
